SOFA (South of Farmington Avenue) Walking Tour

The development of the West End offers a fascinating view into the development of the suburbs within city limits. Join us as we tour an architectural sampler on Beacon and Oxford Streets and learn of the architectural, technological, economic, and social changes that shaped the neighborhood. And take a peek at a long-forgotten schoolhouse! Tour led by Mary A. Falvey from the Hartford Preservation Alliance.

Meet at 1 p.m. and the southwest corner of Beacon Street and Farmington Avenue (see map)
